John has been cleaning up his studio to get ready for some serious creativity explosion. Ella likes to hang out in the studio but at this particular moment she was getting feisty and bored and wanted to go outside to chase squirrels. Her wish is my command.

I photographed two wonderful families for Austin Monthly magazine’s January 2012 issue. Both of these families were included on a story about the process of adoptions and the good and not so good side of that process. I was of course thrilled with the way the two page spread turned out.
 I’ve been eagerly waiting to share the images I shot for Paloma Botanical Beauty Parlour’s 2011 Winter Look Book. We had an amazing team on this shoot and I absolutely love the way it turned out. Paloma of course provided the glorious hair and make-up, which turned out stunning. Kick Pleat, a fantastic clothing boutique here in Austin, styled the shoot. Everything just came together so perfectly. We also got a lovely little write up from breathe design, a wonderful Austin-based blog.

 I am a contributing photographer for the Winter issue of Austin Monthly Home, which is on newsstands right now! This was a wonderful editorial assignment and I had such a great time meeting everyone. A little info about each shoot is included below.
 I photographed some absolutely delicious food from BC Tavern for the December 2011 issue of Austin Monthly. If you haven’t checked out this issue yet you should definitely pick it up! Oh and needless to say if you haven’t tried out BC Tavern you should put this place on your list. I mean look at that Black Truffle Mac-n-Cheese. Oh my word!!
